Chelmsford Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025

From 17–23 November, Chelmsford joins the worldwide celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), recognising the entrepreneurs and small businesses that drive our local economy and create opportunities for growth.

Chelmsford: A Thriving Business Hub

Chelmsford sits at the heart of Essex’s thriving business landscape, with over 81,000 businesses across the county contributing nearly £50 billion annually. Our city continues to grow rapidly—more than 1,500 new companies have launched here in the past two years, supported by strong networks, an expanding innovation scene, and improved connectivity through the new Beaulieu Station.

Highlights from the Week

Local businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs can take part in events designed to inspire and support enterprise, including:
